Job Profile
Working on all types of farm machinery, on site and in Depot, there is plenty of variation in this role. Our main franchises include Kuhn Farm Machinery, Merlo telehandlers, Deutz-Fahr tractors and Polaris UTVs.
Duties include:
- Servicing and repairing of machinery
- Computer diagnostics
- Building and PDI of new machinery
- Thorough Examinations (LOLER tests)
- Filling in of technician paperwork (timesheets, job cards, taking photos for warranty & customers)
Applicant requirements:
- Agricultural knowledge is advantageous
- Technician experience
- Computer skills are an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Good customer relations
- Ability to work on own & as part of a team
- Transferrable skills welcomed
Salary Parameter
Weekly basic (39 hours) + overtime
Additional overtime available, including Saturday mornings (on average 3 per month expected)
Geographical Location: Essex + outskirts of Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire (Roughly 25 mile radius / 45min journey)
