Warehouse/Stores Operative - Days
Salary £21.000 minimum basic dependent on age and experience
Plus overtime required

Permanent and Full Time , 40.5 hrs per week
Monday to Thursday 10.00 – 19.30 , Friday 10.00- 17.30 .
Since its formation in 1981, Richard Austin Alloys has developed into one of the UK's largest independent aluminium and stainless steel stockholders.
An opportunity has now arisen for experienced warehouse/stores operative to join the existing team in the Midlands. This role would ideally suit an individual with experience in a busy warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and packing orders
- Using Forklift trucks on a daily basis
- Stock Management
- Damage Control
- Ensuring health and safety obligations are met
- Prioritising workload
- Hands on approach
Essential Skills
- Counterbalance forklift licence and experience
- Experience from within a warehouse environment
- Experience in metal, engineering, plastics or timber an advantage
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Strong personality and hard working
- Flexible in working hours
- Training will be provided for the right individual but you must be keen to learn and capable of absorbing information quickly and be prepared for hard work
